Panel

The ‘Panel’ is the RONIN International Ltd market research access panel. The term ‘Community’ is also used to identify the ‘Panel’.

Panel activity

As a member of the Panel, you will have the opportunity to participate in market research activities including online and telephone surveys, product tests, focus groups, in depth interviews and more.

Membership

Membership and participation to the panel is free.

As a Panel member, you will be eligible to receive invitations to participate in market research activities in the occurrence such opportunities arise. As a Panel member, RONIN International may contact you using the contact information that you provide to RONIN International.

Becoming a member requires opening an account. This can be done by you or by RONIN International on your behalf. You can do so by registering on this Website.

RONIN International reserves the right to refuse any membership applications.

You undertake that all information you provide as a panel member, when opening an account, will be true and accurate, and will not be false or misleading.

By submitting that information to RONIN International, you hereby certify all assertions made under this Terms and Conditions and agree that you authorise RONIN International to confirm the veracity of such information.

By submitting your application to become a member of the Panel, you consent to RONIN International holding, storing and processing your personal data. Refer to our Privacy Policy Privacy Policy for related privacy and data protection policies.

You can terminate your membership at any time. If you wish to do so you can unsubscribe via email to our Panel team Panel team or from the unsubscribe link present in the footer in any email from us.

RONIN International may suspend or terminate your membership if one of the following events occurs.

• you breach any of these Terms and Conditions (including any terms found in the Privacy Policy
• you misuse your membership of the panel or use it for any improper purpose
• if any activities on your account(s) or your participant responses to surveys are subject to investigation in regard to data integrity, reliability or validity

Your account

You may only open one account per person on our Panel. This can be done by you or by RONIN International on your behalf. Your account is not transferrable. You will be asked to provide, as a minimum, a personal email address and a password to register with our Panel.

Please do not disclose your password to anyone else, you are responsible for keeping it safe.

RONIN International will not be liable for any unauthorised use of your account, which includes unauthorised use of your email address and password.

Conduct

RONIN International relies on accurate data to serve its clients that reflect the true opinions of our members. As a member, you agree to provide truthful and well considered answers to our market research activities.

It is a condition of panel membership that the panel member agrees to refrain from any action which would negatively impact Ronin International (or any other Fat Media Group company), its reputation, products, services, management or employees except when required by law.

Incentives

You may earn incentives by successfully completing our surveys or by successfully completing other market research activities you have been invited to.

Incentives will be credited to your account. You can redeem your incentives when they become payable by selecting what payment method you prefer on this Website at the page ‘New Incentives’ (in some cases, e.g. telephone interviews, you will be asked your method of payment verbally). You will be able to choose to pay the incentive to yourself or to devolve the incentive as a charitable donation. Payments to yourself are executed via PayPal (you will have to indicate your PayPal email address in your account) or via Amazon e-voucher (please note this option is only available in the following countries: Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Spain, UK, USA).

Incentives are subject to an expiration date. You can redeem your incentives within one year from the date of completion of the survey. Incentives not redeemed within such timeframe expire and will no longer be available for redemption.

The survey email invitation will specify how soon redeemed incentives will be paid:

• Incentives for RONIN48 surveys are payable within 2 working days from redemption;
• Incentives for standard (non RONIN48 surveys) are payable within 12 weeks from redemption.

Incentives may not be auctioned, traded, bartered or sold and are not transferrable upon death, by gift, as part of a domestic relations matter, or otherwise, except by operation of law.

RONIN International reserves the right to withhold awarding incentives to a member if, in RONIN International’s reasonable view, a member’s survey question responses are untruthful or not well considered, or if the same survey has been taken multiple times.

Intellectual property

All pages and content within or linking to this Website including, but not limited to, text, graphics, audio, video, photographs, surveys, questionnaires, image or video or any other media documents displayed in a survey and logos are proprietary and the intellectual property of, or are authorised for use by, RONIN International and its licensors, partners, clients and affiliates. This includes all trademarks, copyrights, patents and confidential information.

Except as expressly permitted by these Terms and Conditions or by RONIN International in writing, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, republish, display, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way any content of this Website.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

All information on this Website is subject to change without notice and without liability.

RONIN International reserves the right at any time and from time to time, to modify or amend these Terms or any part thereof, without notice to you. Your continued use of the RONIN Rewards website or continued participation in the RONIN International Panel constitute an affirmative acknowledgement of any modification and your continued agreement to be bound by the modified Terms.
